End of project gathering

21 February 2018

With the end of the project upon us many of the people who contributed to the Mary Gillham Archive Project gathered in Gwaelod y Garth, the village where Mary lived for most of her life in Wales, to celebrate the achievements of the project.

Mary's family, the project volunteers, HLF, Glamorgan Archives and representatives from the Cardiff Naturalist's Association, Flat Holm Society, Friends of Forest Farm, Glamorgan Fungus GroupMerthyr Tydfil & District Naturalists' Society, South East Wales Biodiversity Records Centre, and Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales came along, got to talk with each other about their experiences and take away a shiny copy of the project report.

It was wonderful to share this journey with each of these people and organisations and we're incredibly grateful for their support and contributions - the project wouldn't have been half as good without you.

Thank you!
